If you don't follow cuddys_house, the story/idea goes as follows: House and Cuddy are in a new relationship that is both passionate and painful, and even though House drives Cuddy nuts and she knows she should be smarter than to be with him... she just can't help being in love with him because, in his own ways, he is good for her.

the funniest thing was that i saw the title of your vid and i thought it was some Michael Buble thing. then i saw the name of the singer, and it still didn't hit me which song it was. But then the vid started playing and i was like OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG! thanks for bringing back old memories :D:D

Ahh! I adore this song! And I'm so thrilled you used it in a video! :D Not to sound like a squeeing fangirl or anything, but, damn they have so many hot "eyesex" moments. Anyway, I really loved the rubber band/tennis ball cuts. Also loved the sun flare effect for "afternoon" and how you were so particular about the beats in the song, how footfalls would happen on a beat, etc. But I wouldn't expect anything less. Loved the end shot, too. <3

Thanks so much, love! I had an absolute blast making this vid (new shiny programme, too, which made for making things a lot easier) and kept having squeeing moments about the game because that song just reminds me so much of House and Cuddy on cuddys_house. Lol, I'm pathetic, I know. XD

And yeah - I'm anal about timing. I love everything to be in direct sync with the beat, or otherwise it annoys me. I'm so glad you picked up on the timing of things like the footfalls.

OHMYGOODNESS. This was GORGEOUS! Lovely song. Excellent video. You captured all the perfect moments with Cuddy and House/Cuddy. You got all my favorite scenes anyway. :D That last shot with Cuddy opening the door to House just about had me. This totally fits with cuddys_house and that's probably a huge reason why I'm completely in love with this. Best summary of their relationship all in four minutes. Beautiful.

Oh man, I had so much fun making this fanvid, because it was making me think over cuddys_house and how much I love it, and I most of the sweet moments between House and Cuddy as inspiration for the vid, hence the scenes I chose - especially things like the last shot with House at Cuddy's door! I don't know what it is about them that makes me squee, except I honestly think part of it is that it's not easy for them to have a relationship. They're both messed up in their own ways and they fight as much as anything so those moments when they do connect are all the sweeter.

I think you've summed it up perfectly. Because you know they do care about each other a lot and you know they do love each other in their own way, be that on a friendship level or deeper if you want to read more into their relationship. And those traits come out clearly during the moments when they're on even ground with each other. Like in the show, when House gave Cuddy the injections - as unorthodox and unconventional House was about showing it, he was really very caring about how he went about it.

I spent a lot of time and put a lot of thought into this video, wanting scenes to justify the lyrics and vice versa, so I'm very glad to know it worked. I love using colour variations in vids because changing the colouring always adds a new dimension to clips.

1:49-1:53 Mirror ball playing!!!! Love how the ball is emphasized with everything else in the scene muted. That is also one of my favorite moments in Fetal Position.
1:53-1:59 WORD TO THE LYRICS. Also, you chose excellent scenes to express the lyrics, especially the bed one. Oh, Cuddy.
2:04-2:08 Beautiful transition to color. Just warms the cockles of my heart, that scene. :)
2:09-2:18 Excellent use of the slamming door scenes! Perfect metaphor!
2:37-2:38 Something about House being black and white here that makes this scene even sadder. Oh, House.
2:49-2:52 Oh my God. That is the perfect scene to go with "It's all because of you." The blue accent!!!
3:00-3:07 Again, how can not love Cuddy here? That smile! Reminds me very much of the slide scene in cuddys_house.
3:14-3:16 Love the transition to color here.
4:00-4:02 House sliding across to Cuddy fits the "Sway my way" so well here.
4:09-4:14 This is them, right there. The exasperation, the cuteness! I love them.
4:19-4:24 The last shot is just gorgeous. The colors are so warm. The perfect ending to a wonderful video.

OMG. Eee! A commentary! You know, I thought about writing a commentary to explain why I'd chosen the scenes I'd chosen and pointing things out that I wanted people to notice - but your commentary does just that! Eee, it makes me so happy that you picked up on all the things I wanted people to notice!!! Whenever I make a vid I choose my scenes carefully and always hope people notice the significance/interpretation of the scenes in relation to the song lyric it's matched with.

Oh man. Like I think I've told you before, I've always liked House/Cuddy, but right now it's my OTP. And you know what? It's like rediscovering the House fandom and my love for it all over again. I mean, I love House/Wilson and I always will, but I've shipped House/Wilson since the show began a few years back and shipping House/Cuddy now the way I used to ship House/Wilson is like a breath of fresh air. I just love creating for this pairing, be that fics or rpg or graphics or vids.
