summary & notes: Well, I've been working on this vid for a little while now, and I finally finished it this morning (yay, insomnia). This is a video that focuses around House's guilt about Amber's death, his own feelings of death in general, and how he wishes he could reverse time and the things that unfolded the night of the bus crash. It was originally going to be a House/Amber/Wilson vid but it never turned out that way for some reason. Idk, vids take on a life of their own, I guess. But the main theme of this whole vid is the one line at the end of the song: "Well, anyway," she says, "I'll see you around." Meaning one day, House will rejoin Amber on the bus.

Lots of parallels in this video, as well as a lot of focus on light and use of light filters because I wanted to evoke an 'ethereal' mood.

I don't expect many people to be interested in this because of the pairing, but that's okay. I love House/Amber and I really enjoyed putting this together.

Nice way to open it. Normally I like the way you cut to the same footage, but a zoomed version quickly, but it jarred me a little in this because of how soft the song was and how sudden and abrupt the cuts were. Loved the 'ethereal' lighting effects (although some worked better than others). Really loved the backwards footage for "maybe it means nothing". The cuts back and forth in the instrumental section was my favorite part of it all. Aw, and even though it was sad and bittersweet, I loved it. Yay! Nice job. =D

I think it goes without saying how incredibly good this vid is. I really admire the way you manipulate the footage not only for your own lighting and framing effects, but just...MAN. Everything is clever and exceedingly well done - stylish without being over the top or excessive.

One of your best, I think. I especially liked the bits where you reversed the film (the bus crash, the scene at the bar); very good visual representation of how House wishes he could go back and rewind the past. I've taken the iPod version. Just lovely.

Beautiful!! :) I've always had a weak spot for House & Amber.. I don't know, there're some little scenes between them that make me love them (when he comes out of his hospital room in 97 seconds, or that little smile he gives her in Don't ever change) ♥
I know she loved Wilson, and they made a really sweet couple, but her interactions with House were also very interesting to watch...

I kept meaning to say that I enjoyed this but I was too laaazy, lol. At the beginning I was all 'slow song, oh no', but the parallels were enough to keep me interested and I watched it all the way through. What was particularly cool was - see, I think with vidding, you can make people notice things that they never did before - and until seeing this I hadn't ever noticed the connection between Amber saving House's life when he did the knife trick and then again when she told him to get off the bus. Very cool. I saw this as House + Amber rather than House/Amber, but either way, it worked :)
