summary/notes: This started out as a House/Cuddy vid and ended up being a House/Cuddy, House/Wilson, House/Amber, Wilson/Cuddy and Wilson/Amber vid. I'm not even sure how to summarise this vid because it turned out completely not how I had in mind. So, despite the graphic I've made for it, it's not strictly a House/Cuddy vid I changed the graphic because it didn't match, imo. But basically, it is from House's perspective, about the people in his life and how life is so fragile. Mainly focusing around 'House's Head' and 'Wilson's Heart'.

Edit: Okay, after trying to work out how to phrase a summary, because I'm useless at them, I finally came up with one: A video about House and Wilson and Cuddy, the impact that recent events have left on all of them and how that has changed their relationship with each other, and how fragile life is.

This is one of those songs that has needed a video for House, and I don't believe anyone could have done it better than you. I know how you felt about this one when it started, how it was in your head for awhile, what it started out as and what it ended up becoming. I'm going to watch now and will be back with commentary!

That was amazing. Favorite one you've ever done. The merging and fading into all those parallel scenes (lying in a hospital bed, the headache shots) were so artfully done. Really wonderful, Ticcy, really. There were so many other things I loved, but I'd be recounting the whole vid. Definitely my favorite. Awesome. Wonderful job. <3

Okay, commentary time. :)

The introduction is heart wrenching. The black and white really suits it, and the emphasis on Cuddy's face, her voice, it's all perfect. I love how you've used and emphasized breathing, it's laced into the audio just right, and it gives me a chill.

The transitions on House's face ("I have been here many times before") are timed perfectly. Amber giving House CPR, I love the blurred effect on it. Gives it the foggy look of memory.

"Be my friend" - awwwww.

Amber. :( The light on her and House, though, I love it. It's well placed, not overdone at all. Gives me the feeling of that moment in time being something he wishes he could freeze, to keep it from happening. The crash scene is used so well, and the music is almost gentle but the scene is so sad and I love the contrast with that.

The heartbeats are fantastic! With the hands, it almost killed me.

The CPR and breathing are perfect. That's an absolutely perfect moment right there.

"Ouch, I have lost myself again" - IT LOOKS WONDERFUL. Nothing to worry about there, you did such a good job with that scene! I hope it came out the way you wanted it to because it looks amazing.

Fantastic use of "Three Stories" and the new episode. :)

I love how seamlessly you made House's face fade into his face at other times. That's a dynamic effect, one of those traits that's really telltale of a strong video maker. It was so flawless.

When he wakes up, with her holding his hand? Break my heart. Oh, just break my heart. Cuddy's face right before she sees Wilson is so beautiful in that moment, her emotions are just right out there on her sleeve.

Don't have words for that next part, it's beyond words.

Love the slow zoom on "and breathe me"

3:33 made me gasp. I wasn't expecting that at all! And of course it matched the beat in the music, and I loved that, too, because the beat wasn't overbearing. It was just right, right along with the motion.

3:34 AGAIN, AUGH BREAK MY HEART this time in a good way.

And from then on out, it's just perfect. I love the way you chose to end it, with the different flashes, the changes, giving them each just a moment, but it's a perfect moment that fits all those feelings right there into one place.

I really think this is your best yet. There's so much feeling in it, and it's evident you put all of that emotion into it yourself with your hard work. It's gorgeous, Ticcy, and I'm so glad you finished it.

Hee, thanks so much, love. ♥ Yeah, actually, I'd had the idea to use the song for a House/Cuddy vid for a while but never got around to making it. Then after watching the episode last night I felt really inspired to make a vid. I intended it to be House/Cuddy but... there was way too much that happened to just narrow it down to that, and I thought narrowing it down to a ship would cheapen it, too.
